Google Ads Spending Bug With New Customer Acquisition
Briefly

Google Ads is facing a bug affecting campaigns set for New Customer Acquisition, preventing them from utilizing their allocated budgets since May 15, 2025. Confirmed by Google, this issue has led to frustration among advertisers. Google is actively working with their engineering team to resolve the problem, but no clear timeline has been provided. In the interim, they suggest a temporary switch to bidding for both new and existing customers to maintain campaign activity until the bug is fixed.
We are aware of an issue where the campaigns running on New Customer Acquisition only, have stopped spending starting May 15th, 2025.
We are currently working closely with the engineering team to have this issue resolved as soon as possible.
