Tim Castree was appointed chief marketing officer at DoorDash effective immediately, replacing Kofi Amoo-Gottfried. Castree previously served as vice president of EU Prime and marketing for Amazon, overseeing brand, performance, and growth marketing across more than 15 markets. He also built and led global marketing organizations at GroupM and Wavemaker. DoorDash reported record Q1 2026 membership signups, a new high for monthly active users, strong consumer engagement, and 27% year-over-year order growth with 33% year-over-year revenue growth to $4 billion. The company expanded grocery presence in Canada and worked to expand its partnership with Kroger. DoorDash launched a multichannel Mother’s Day campaign using reality TV and meme culture and continues building a retail media arm as ad revenue grows.
