YouTube is partnering with the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) to launch a tool enabling celebrities to identify and remove content that uses their AI-generated likeness, starting early next year.
This initiative will allow leading celebrity talent, including award-winning actors and top athletes from the NBA and NFL, to have control over their AI-generated images.
The tool also extends to top YouTube creators and other leading partners, marking YouTube's commitment to supporting creative professionals amidst the growing influence of generative AI.
With the ability to flag permissions for third-party AI companies to train on their content, YouTube is establishing itself as a trusted ally in the creative space.
