Sonos' chief marketing officer has left the company
Briefly

Jordan Saxemard has departed Sonos as chief marketing officer, effective immediately. His exit was announced during an internal call, with Lindsay Whitworth taking over on an interim basis. Whitworth, a 20-year veteran at Sonos, is expected to navigate the brand's marketing while a search for a permanent replacement is conducted. Saxemard's brief tenure began in May 2024 but faced challenges, including the botched launch of a new mobile app and the underperformance of the brand's inaugural headphones, which were impacted by software issues despite intense marketing efforts.
From what I'm told, he never quite gelled with the audio brand's mission. He also had the unfortunate luck of immediately facing a challenging ordeal when Sonos prematurely rolled out an overhauled mobile app that was buggy and missing features.
We thank him for his contributions to the company. Lindsay Whitworth, Vice President of Global Consumer Direct will lead the marketing team in the interim.
