Senate reportedly mulls changes to TikTok ban-or-sale bill as vote timeline remains unclear

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is under pressure to hold a vote on the bill, passed by the House, amid concerns of TikTok as a potential spying tool.

Senate Commerce Committee, led by Sen. Maria Cantwell, is expected to discuss changes to the bill including possible extension of time for ByteDance to divest its TikTok stake.
