Manager Ruben Amorim confirmed Fernandes will not play against Wolves and said the midfielder was already pushing to train despite the setback. The 31-year-old captain continues to lead off the pitch by speaking constantly, observing team training sessions and attending even after treatment. Amorim highlighted visible flaws in gesture alongside many positive contributions and praised his overall leadership. The injury could risk further complications in the upcoming Wolves fixture.
