Marcus Rashford has joined Aston Villa on loan for the remainder of the season, seeking to regain game time and participate in Champions League football. After being sidelined by Manchester United's new manager, Ruben Amorim, due to unsatisfactory training efforts, Rashford will have the chance to contribute to Villa's top-four ambitions. Aston Villa will cover a significant portion of his substantial weekly wages. Rashford will spend the remainder of the season on loan at Villa Park, where he will have the opportunity to play in the Champions League and fight for a top four finish.
Villa will pay between 70 and 90 per cent of Rashford's wages, which a reportedly around 325,000 a week, and have the option of making the move permanent in the summer.
Upon confirmation of his move, Rashford wrote on Instagram: 'I would like to thank Manchester United and Aston Villa for making this loan deal happen.'
