Manchester City have been charged with the breach of financial fair pay rules on over 100 separate occasions between 2009 and 2018, in which time they took home the Premier League trophy three times.
There is a range of punishments the commission could impose on Manchester City, ranging from point deductions to expulsion from the league.
City manager Pep Guardiola has promised to stick with the team even if they are punished, even if that means demotion to League One. However, the most likely punishment will be a fine or point deductions.
