Newcastle United v Manchester City: Head to Head
Briefly

City's record on Tyneside has been poor, and that's putting it mildly. Since a 1-0 defeat at St James's Park in September 2005, the blues have lost just twice in 18 matches.
The teams first met on Tyneside as far back as 1894, when both teams were in the second division. Newcastle won that match and 11 of the following 15, drawing four in the process. The blues had to wait until 1913 for their first win away to the Toon, then won the next match in 1914. However, City then lost nine of the next 11 matches, drawing two of them to start another poor run.
