The AL is looking to win its 10th All-Star Game in the last 11 years. They were defeated by the NL, 3-2, in 2023. All in all, the AL is 47-44-2 against the NL in the Midsummer Classic.
Arizona Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo is helming the NL and named sensational Pittsburgh Pirates rookie Paul Skenes as the starting pitcher. Skenes is only the fifth rookie in MLB history to start an All-Star Game.
