Mets Acquire Pablo Reyes From Red Sox
Briefly

The Mets have acquired utilityman Pablo Reyes from the Red Sox in exchange for cash considerations. Reyes was designated for assignment at the end of April but cleared waivers and was outrighted to Boston's Triple-A affiliate.
Reyes has hit .249/.309/.349 over 572 Major League plate appearances, playing in six of the last seven MLB seasons. A career-high 185 plate appearances came last season with the Red Sox, where he hit .287/.339/.377.
Reyes' lack of power has been noted, as his solid batting average and on-base numbers resulted in a 93 wRC+ last season. He has had stints with multiple teams, like the Red Sox and the Brewers.
