Major League Baseball reached new three-year media rights agreements with ESPN, NBCUniversal and Netflix covering the 2026–2028 seasons. ESPN will receive a national midweek game package each season and acquire the rights to sell MLB.TV, the league's out-of-market streaming service. NBCUniversal will carry Sunday Night Baseball, the Wild Card Series and re-acquired the MLB Sunday Leadoff package for Peacock. Netflix will stream marquee events including the Home Run Derby, an Opening Night exclusive and the Field of Dreams game. Fox, Turner and Apple TV+ will retain existing portions of national rights including the All-Star Game, postseason series and Friday Night Baseball.
