Taylor Tinsley and Kaitlyn Terry lead UCLA softball's push to reach WCWS
Briefly

UCLA's pitching duo, Taylor Tinsley and Kaitlyn Terry, is set to lead the team as they aim for a championship after their first appearance at the Women's College World Series. Both pitchers have developed significantly throughout the past season, overcoming challenges like injuries and a poor start. Coach Kelly Inouye-Perez highlights their dominant postseason performances and the team's growth. Despite finishing early at the WCWS, the Bruins are hungry for success, resilient after a difficult season, and determined to make a deeper run in the next postseason.
Tinsley embraced the role of becoming the team's ace while Terry recovered from a meniscus tear early last season. When Tinsley suffered an injury in April, Terry took over the demand and performed at a premier level, carrying the team through a crucial stretch.
I would put us against literally anybody in the world. I want this team to win a ring. ... I just want us to make it to OKC again.
It was really hard to go through being so bad and then finding a way to come back. That's why I believe we'll be much more prepared - our belief is even stronger.
There's a fire in our gut. KT and Taylor Tinsley want to play on that stage again.
