Seahawks activate George Holani, Elijah Arroyo for NFC title game
"It feels great to be back with the guys,"
"Been a while, so I'm excited to get back out there."
"He's going to be ready to go and expecting him to feel good,"
The Seattle Seahawks activated backup running back George Holani and rookie tight end Elijah Arroyo from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's NFC championship against the Los Angeles Rams. Holani, 26, landed on injured reserve after a hamstring injury sustained Nov. 23 and rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries during the regular season; he could serve as Kenneth Walker III's backup. Elijah Arroyo, a 2025 second-round pick out of Miami, missed the final four regular-season games and the divisional round with a knee injury. Zach Charbonnet, who led the team with 12 rushing touchdowns, was placed on injured reserve and is out for the playoffs with a torn ACL. Guard Bryce Cabeldue was also placed on injured reserve to make roster room. The Los Angeles Rams expect outside linebacker Byron Young, who leads the team with 12 sacks and has dealt with knee soreness, to be available though he was limited in practice and listed as questionable.
