The Rams have officially designated veteran safety John Johnson III to return from injured reserve, providing much-needed support for the upcoming wild-card game.
With Blake Corum placed on injured reserve due to a fractured forearm, the Rams signed running back Royce Freeman, who previously rushed for 319 yards last season.
