Authorities reported that a shooting occurred at El Kalua's Night Club in Huntington Park, leaving two men in stable condition and one in critical care.
Huntington Park Commander Kenneth Rulon stated that despite the ongoing investigation, they believe the incident is not gang-related, emphasizing that no weapon has been recovered.
Rulon noted a suspect was at large, and police encountered 32-year-old Alexander Esparza, who fled but was not involved in the shooting.
Esparza was arrested for unrelated charges, with outstanding warrants for burglary and grand theft auto, while police continue their search for the shooting suspect.
