Pasadena to resume parking enforcement after Eaton fire

Pasadena has announced the resumption of parking enforcement nearly a month after the devastating Eaton fire, which impacted Altadena and surrounding areas. Starting January 21, enforcement resumed in business districts, while a phased approach will see full enforcement returning, including overnight restrictions by March 1. The Eaton fire, ignited on January 7, resulted in extensive damage across 14,021 acres, leading to 17 fatalities and the destruction of more than 9,400 structures, dramatically affecting local communities.
Enforcement will gradually resume in Pasadena, beginning with business districts and expanding to preferential parking and overnight restrictions by early March.
