Newborn boy found dead on Skid Row was dropped from fourth floor, police say

The Los Angeles Police Department stated that a newborn baby was found dead after being likely dropped from the fourth floor, with CPR attempted by bystanders.

A woman, who was hospitalized for pelvic bleeding early that same morning, was questioned by police regarding the newborn found dead and was later released pending investigation.
