Sanchez was charged by the California attorney general's office in August 2021, a month after the Riverside County district attorney's office announced it would not.
"I'm disappointed in the resolution, or the lack of resolution," Deputy Atty. Gen. Mike Murphy, the prosecutor in the case, told the Desert Sun.
