Michael Madsen, known for his roles in Quentin Tarantino films, was arrested for suspected misdemeanor domestic violence after a reported incident involving his wife at home.
According to Deputy Raquel Utley, police responded at 12:15 a.m. to a report of a domestic disturbance, where a female claimed Madsen pushed her and locked her out.
After being arrested, Madsen was booked at 1:40 a.m. and released on a $20,000 bail, with the ongoing investigation set to go to the Van Nuys Superior Courthouse.
Madsen's spokesperson noted the actor and his wife had a 'disagreement' they hope will get resolved positively, amidst the backdrop of his previous legal issues.
