Driver dies after collision with fire truck in Pacoima

In a tragic car accident in Pacoima, a man driving a Toyota Corolla was killed after making a left turn in front of a fire engine responding to an emergency call. The incident occurred at around 10:45 a.m. on San Fernando Road. According to Sgt. Jodie McGee, the driver was transported to Holy Cross Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The fire crew was uninjured after the collision but shaken by the event. The LAPD is currently investigating the incident and is working to identify the victim, who was without identification at the time of the accident.
