More than 150 people from as far away as Fairfax and Hidden Valley Lake reported feeling the tremor to the agency. A user described it as 'Longer than most of the earthquakes up here.'
According to Michigan Tech, quakes between 2.5 and 5.4 magnitude are often felt but rarely cause much damage. However, even smaller quakes can cause discomfort and concern.
