Fitzgerald Carty, 66, has been sentenced to 30 months in prison after attempting to harm a man with a knife during a dispute at a petrol station in Lewisham. The incident escalated on January 25 when Carty threatened the victim by grabbing him by the throat. However, he was quickly restrained by 23-year-old PC Morgan Younger, who was on patrol and happened to stop for a drink. Carty pleaded guilty to illegal possession of a knife and attempted grievous bodily harm.
