Two men hospitalised and police officer injured in horror south London night bus stabbing

Two men were taken to the hospital following a knife attack on a London night bus in Blackheath; emergency services responded early Sunday morning. A 24-year-old sustained a stab wound but is not in life-threatening condition. A 40-year-old man, arrested for grievous bodily harm, suffered a head injury. A police officer was also injured during the incident. The police are maintaining a crime scene while investigations continue into the altercation that left three individuals in need of medical treatment.
A Met Police spokesperson said: "Police and the London Ambulance Service were called shortly after 04:30hrs on Sunday, 30 March to reports of an altercation on a bus in Stratheden Road/Langton Way, Blackheath."
London Ambulance Service confirmed they "sent a number of resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, incident response officers and a paramedic in a fast response car."
