Willa White's life story is one of resilience and transformation. Growing up in a violent household, he sought escape through drugs and fled to the UK at 16. Unfortunately, his new life led to deeper issues, including addiction and imprisonment. Despite the hardships he faced, it was during his time in prison that he discovered a passion for storytelling, which inspired his play, The Examination. This work, set to perform in Dublin, aims to reflect on and advocate for changes within Ireland's prison system to improve inmate rehabilitation.
