Kai Widdrington and Angela Rippon participated in the Colours of Redbridge Dance for Fitness program, aimed at boosting fitness and social interaction in the community. Managed by Rambert, the program focuses on inclusivity, offering various dance styles for all skill levels, especially for older individuals and those with disabilities. Following a successful pilot, the program will resume in April, further promoting health through dance, supported by local leaders and enthusiasts alike. Angela Rippon emphasized dance's role in improving mental and physical health and combating loneliness.
Dance is the perfect exercise to improve the health and wellbeing of mind and body, regardless of age or physical condition, and a great way to meet new people and beat isolation and loneliness.
As we all know, prevention is better than a cure, and dance can be an amazing way to stay fit. So, I want to see Redbridge and Britain get moving.
