Plans for affordable homes at hospital progressing
Briefly

The Vistry Group has been appointed to develop an affordable housing scheme next to North Middlesex Hospital. The project includes 284 homes ranging from one to four bedrooms, alongside a park and community facilities. Half of the homes will offer social rent, around 50% of the market rate, with the remaining for shared ownership. This initiative aims to address London's housing pressures, with a target of building 23,900 to 27,200 affordable homes by March 2026. The development is reported as a significant step in creating affordable living options in London.
"Tackling housing pressures in the capital and delivering affordable new homes for Londoners remains a top priority for me as we work together to build a better, fairer London for everyone."
"The properties will be 'genuinely affordable', with half to be available at a social rent - about 50% of the market rate - while the other half are to be for shared ownership."
