Met Police officer who left man, 23, paralysed after Tasering him faces the sack
Briefly

PC Imran Mahmood, a Metropolitan Police officer, has been acquitted of grievous bodily harm after Taser-ing Jordan Walker-Brown, who was left paralyzed. The incident happened during the first COVID-19 lockdown in May 2020, and PC Mahmood cited fears of a threat. A jury found him not guilty; however, the Met is now pursuing gross misconduct charges, which could lead to his dismissal for breaching standards regarding the use of force. Walker-Brown, who suffered catastrophic injuries, expressed feelings of injustice in the legal process.
I feel like he won before he got here... It's rigged. I was fighting against something that is bigger than everything.
The matter is so serious as to justify dismissal... breaching standards of professional behaviour relating to use of force.
