Man charged with murder after death of 85-year-old

A man has been charged with murder after an 85-year-old man was found dead at a property in south London. The incident occurred at around 13:00 on Friday afternoon on Churchmore Road in Streatham. The victim had a number of injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the London Ambulance Service. Amithraz Balgobin, 36, of Lambeth, has been charged with murder and drug possession and is scheduled to appear at Bromley Magistrates' Court on 7 July.
