Lee Miller, a photographer who captured significant moments during World War II, buried her traumatic experiences from the frontline, contributing to her struggles with depression and PTSD. At the 10th edition of Photo London, unseen images reveal both the violence of the war and more mundane, peaceful moments involving US troops. According to Kerry Negahban from the Lee Miller archive, Miller found it difficult to discuss her experiences even with her husband. These complexities of her life and work were also depicted in the recent biopic, Lee, starring Kate Winslet.
