Jeremy Corbyn launches general election campaign against Labour for Islington North seat

I am here to represent the people of Islington North on exactly the same principles that I've stood by my whole life: social justice, human rights and peace.
Responding to the decision to prevent local party members from selecting him as a candidate, Mr Corbyn said: We have to stand up and defend our rights.
Labour has whittled down its search to replace Mr Corbyn to two people - Sem Moema, a member of the London Assembly, and Praful Nargund, an Islington councillor.
