Jeffrey Epstein rented four flats in Kensington and Chelsea, housing several women he allegedly abused. Despite a 2015 report of sex trafficking to the Metropolitan Police, investigations were not initiated. Some women were coerced into recruiting others and frequently traveled to Paris to visit him. Documents reveal Epstein booked Eurostar trips and funded English courses for these women. A second report of abuse was made in early 2020, but it is unclear if it was acted upon. Human rights lawyer Tessa Gregory criticized the lack of a UK police investigation into Epstein's activities.
