I hate it': Manchester commuters back ban out-loud music on public transport
Briefly

Many Mancunians, like Ross Kenyon, express dread towards their daily commute due to increasing antisocial behavior, particularly loud music on public transport. Kenyon opts for a half-hour walk to avoid the tram, stating the situation has worsened, especially during weekends. Others share his sentiment, including Reena, a journalist, who finds it unacceptable when young people play music around families. Notably, Sarah Hastings highlights that it's not the music itself but rather the explicit lyrics that cause discomfort. In response, the Liberal Democrats propose a ban on loud music in public transport settings.
I just find it annoying. Music to his ears, however, was the news that the Liberal Democrats are proposing to ban playing music and TV shows out loud on public transport.
I hate it. I think it's really unsociable... I do understand when you're young and you want to listen to music together, but it shouldn’t be when there's lots of other people.
It's not the music. It's the words.
Everything's all nice... But here, it's like there's no rules any more.
