Members of the Bishnoi gang attacked Salman Khan's home in retaliation for killing two blackbucks, a species considered sacred by their sect. The gang leader had previously threatened Khan, who was at home during the attack.
The two attackers, aged 24 and 21, were arrested in Gujarat after firing shots at Khan's apartment. The gang leader, Lawrence Bishnoi, warned of taking retribution into their own hands after Khan's legal penalties were suspended.
