Secret 7" reveals who's left their stamp on 2025's record sleeves
Briefly

War Child's re-launched Secret 7" project features an exciting lineup of artists creating unique album sleeves for charity singles. This year's contributors include notable figures like Antony Gormley, Paul Smith, and Robert Smith, among others. Each artist brings their own creative flair, experimenting with different materials and processes. Anthony Burrill highlighted his approach to working with over-printing, reflecting on how the artistic process informs the final outcome. Contributors are inspired by new tracks from various artists, continuing a tradition of artistic innovation for humanitarian causes.
I experimented with over-printing and embraced the chance aspect of the process. I didn't know how the finished sleeve would look... It's important to me that the process... is part of the outcome.
This year, contributors have got all creative around seven new tracks: Keane's Black Rain, Frank Turner's Be More Kind... all in response to the 2025 call out.
