Music legend Neil Young announced as Hyde Park headliner

Neil Young, the legendary folk rocker, will perform at BST Hyde Park on July 11, supported by artists like Yusuf Cat Stevens and Van Morrison. His Love Earth World Tour kicks off on June 18, where he will present a mix of new and classic songs. Young has expressed excitement over his new album completed recently, revealing his joy during the recording process. His deep connection to music spans over 40 albums, making him a pivotal figure in the industry since the 1960s.
Young, who last played Hyde Park in 2019, has promised a summer of democracy as he hits the road bringing new and old tunes to the stage.
Writing on the Neil Young Archives about completing a new album he said: 'It is a happy feeling I have today, knowing I have made an album I think people will enjoy.'
...I wrote these songs in November and December. They feel fresh to me and I am very happy to have this all ready for you.
He has released more than 40 studio albums, as well multiple live albums with Buffalo Springfield, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, or solo or with his band Crazy Horse.
