"With the advent of the Casbah opening, which was 1959, it was guaranteed that there'd be a party every Saturday night. And hence that's why the unique expression is, The Beatles played here, The Beatles partied here and The Beatles slept here," Best told PA news agency.
The walls of the rooms are tastefully decorated with Beatles memorabilia like photographs, posters, and guitars. The club itself has mostly been preserved with drum kits still on display and "John I'm back" scrawled into the ceiling.
Over six decades after original drummer Pete Best's mother opened the basement Liverpool venue in their family home, Best and his brother Roag have converted the property into a five-apartment rental.
The rooms above the club have been transformed into suites named after John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, original bass guitarist Stuart Sutcliffe, and Best himself.
