Def Leppard's Rick Allen still dealing with "very traumatic" assault two years later
Briefly

Def Leppard's drummer, Rick Allen, discussed the ongoing trauma he faces from a violent assault that occurred in Florida two years ago during a SiriusXM interview. He shared his decision to take a break from showcasing his artwork and side projects, prioritizing his mental health and home time. Despite the difficulties, Allen remains committed to his band, preparing for an upcoming North American tour and festival appearances, while expressing hope to eventually move past the trauma associated with the attack.
I've been going through some challenging times, kind of related to what happened in Florida... So I've been trying to deal with that the best that I can.
That was very traumatic for me, and it's been difficult. But hopefully I can put it behind me soon.
So, that's been a real challenge for me. Hopefully I can put it all behind me and I can just kind of get back to as normal as I could possibly be.
Don't try and bite off more than you can chew. Just deal with this, deal with what's in front of you.
