According to Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski, 'We have grounds for suspicion that there is bribery and corruption in this case,' after detaining 15 people for questioning.
Following the tragedy, the North Macedonian government ordered a large-scale inspection of all nightclubs and cabarets to ensure safety measures are being upheld.
Only one member of the hip-hop duo DNK survived the incident and is currently in a hospital, while 59 attendees lost their lives due to the nightclub fire.
