Unique flavors like Morrisons' Milk & Blonde Chocolate and Hotel Chocolat's Extra-Thick Egg were also highlighted, showcasing a range of innovative combinations and quality in this year's Easter egg offerings.
Coming out on top was Lidl's Deluxe Triple Chocolate Marbled Egg priced at 6.99, wowing our panel with its rich, smooth texture and blend of white, milk and dark chocolate.
Morrisons' The Best Belgian Milk & Blonde Chocolate with Caramel, Pretzel & Honeycomb stood out, scoring high for its bold and unexpected flavour combo.
Hotel Chocolat's Extra-Thick Egg Exquisitely Nutty blew everything else out of the water, with its premium, ultra-thick shell and nut-studded dark chocolate.
Tesco's Raisin & Biscuit Chocolate Egg delivered nostalgic Dairy Milk Fruit & Nut vibes that scored major points for flavour and texture.
