"We had a chip fire (on Sunday) and for the safety of all our staff and customers we had to evacuate the building," she said in a post on the pub's Facebook page.
"Our extremely hardworking and dedicated staff acted fast in getting all of our customers to safety and Fergal, Martin and Esmeralda got the fire under control until the fire brigade arrived."
"We are truly grateful that nobody was seriously injured or hurt in the incident," she candidly added.
"We thank all our neighbours, customers and friends who have rang and messaged us with offers of help and support over the last 24 hrs."
