Dough Hands, a pizza pop-up located at The Spurstowe Arms and The Old Nun's Head in London, has gained significant recognition, as its 'Jode' pizza ranked 7th on Time Out's global list of the 19 best pizzas. This unique offering, crafted by chef Hannah Drye, features a delicious blend of tomato, mozzarella, nduja, hot honey, stracciatella, and grano padano. The crusts are perfectly crispy, and the dough is cold fermented for three days, ensuring a light base. This emerging brand highlights London's growing reputation for high-quality pizza, standing alongside established venues in the city.
Unsurprisingly, the list was topped by a pizza from Naples (the pizza capital of the world), but London put on a pretty good show, landing the number seven spot with Dough Hands' 'Jode', a delightfully oozing tomato, mozzarella, nduja, hot honey, stracciatella, grano padano, and basil offering.
Dough Hands can be found in residence at both London Fields boozer and The Spurstowe Arms The Old Nun's Head in Nunhead. The pop-up pizza project of chef Hannah Drye, her pizzas offer perfectly crispy crusts and decadent toppings.
They're a little bit like a floppy New York-style slices, but with some creative London character thrown in for good measure. Dough is cold fermented for three days to make the base nice and light.
