There's a Modern British Gastropub Coming to the Wings of the Opera House
Briefly

Dingles Public House, co-founded by George Dingle and his wife Anissa, will bring authentic British gastropub fare to San Francisco. Set in the former Plaj location, renovations are ongoing, incorporating a cozy atmosphere with British-style decor. The menu highlights dishes such as Sunday roast, Scotch eggs, and traditional fish and chips. Chef Dingle emphasizes quality, particularly in his beer batter fish, aiming to satisfy local cravings for genuine British dining experiences in California.
"It's a unique opportunity to do something that's not super abundant in California," George Dingle says. "We're doing something really British."
On the menu, George Dingle is promising a proper Sunday roast with Yorkshire pudding and glossy gravy, meat pies with mash and parsley sauce, and sticky toffee pudding.
