Charlie Mellor will open Osteria Vibrato in Soho with sommelier Cameron Dewar. The restaurant will offer classic Italian cooking and generous hospitality in a timeless interior with red leather banquettes, cream tablecloths and terrazzo flooring, plus Murano chandeliers and artwork. Gaia Enria will collaborate on an antipasti, primi, secondi e dolci menu featuring cured meats, fior di latte mozzarella, fresh hand-rolled pasta, risotto, grilled fish, roast meats, seafood stew and amaretti. A £3 cover will serve olive oils, aged parmesan, bread and bespoke mineral water. A 250-bottle wine list and The Green Room cocktail bar will offer classic and inventive drinks; fixed-price lunch and pre-theatre menus will be available.
