Plans have been submitted to transform Kingston Ancient Market with new stalls, a central piazza, and improved facilities. The operator, Between the Bridges, aims to create a vibrant marketplace that includes a restaurant, bar, and roof terrace. The existing statue will be relocated to enhance the central area, which will accommodate up to 45 stalls for events. The Grade II* listed Market House will be revamped to include dining and event spaces, restoring the market's significance in Kingston's Old Town.
