Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall is set to open a second location in West Midtown, which is a positive development amidst a wave of recent restaurant closures in the area. The new site will be located in the Star Metals District, near notable establishments like Hayakawa and Fishmonger. The restaurant plans to create a lounge-like outdoor space, enhancing local greenspace. CEO Michael Lennox emphasizes the importance of finding the right conditions to replicate the success of the original location, though an opening date has yet to be confirmed.
"We have wanted to bring Ladybird to West Midtown for the longest time, but knew everything would have to be perfect in order for us to emulate what makes the original location so special," said Electric Hospitality CEO and Founder Michael Lennox.
Spencer Morris, President of The Allen Morris Company, says the addition of Ladybird into the new complex will add much-needed greenspace into West Midtown.
