Krokodilos Review | "A Great Greek Spot That's Flown Under the Radar"
Briefly

Krokodilos, opened by the team behind Fantomas and Pinna, has quickly gained popularity in London’s Greek dining scene. Nestled on Kensington Church Street, the restaurant features a cozy, inviting interior with an L-shaped open kitchen and a stunning bar. Led by chef Angelos Togias, the menu offers a unique twist on traditional Greek dishes, such as a reimagined spanakopita and a classic Greek salad. Highlights include the red mullet in fennel broth and the richly flavored rabbit stifado. A delightful semolina cake with saffron rounds off a satisfying meal.
The restaurant seems to have quickly found its feet and a loyal set of customers as it was already really busy by the time we arrived for our Monday night reservation.
Angelos Togias leads the kitchen here and he's definitely doing his own spin on Greek dishes, showcasing familiar flavors assembled in innovative ways.
Each dish reflects a blend of traditional elements, such as the classic Greek salad with winter tomatoes and aged feta, showcasing the kitchen's versatility.
We were actually planning to skip dessert but were convinced to try the semolina cake with saffron and yoghurt foam - it was both light and refreshing.
