Iver station getting a second entrance to meet Elizabeth line passenger demand
Briefly

Iver station, previously minimal, is undergoing significant expansion due to increasing demand from the Elizabeth line. Plans include a second entrance on the north side to provide access to a new 310-space car park, supported by Buckinghamshire Council. This expansion also complements a planned residential development called Iver North. The new entrance will mirror the existing southern setup, adding essential facilities for passengers. The developer states funding for this project will derive from the construction of the wider estate, signaling a major transformation in this rural area over the coming years.
The planned new entrance will sit alongside a new road layout and will be a styled mirror of the southern entrance, with a ticket office, lift to the footbridge, and a public disabled toilet on the public side of the ticket barrier.
According to the Iver North developer, the cost of providing both the new entrance and car park would be covered as part of the wider estate construction, subject to the approval of a second data centre building.
