Amateur photographers are flocking to Cecile Park in north London to capture the beauty of cherry blossoms, which symbolize spring in Japan. This year, blossoms are attracting more visitors as local enthusiasm grows. Photographers like David Winskill and Tom Hardy note the spectacle of the trees and the communal joy they inspire as people queue for photos. The fleeting beauty of the blossoms, which last only a week or two, creates a unique buzz in the area, similar to Japan's iconic cherry blossom experiences.
As I was taking these pictures, other photographers were queuing up to take their own. This is one of the most spectacular displays and much loved avenue of trees in London.
In Japan it's a massive thing in spring time and people go over there to see them but we have our own now. When they blossom you see people stop and take pictures, there's a real buzz.
