Sharing a meal with good company is a pleasure. It helps keep us sane in a time of increasing isolationism. I enjoy cooking, but not having others to share my efforts over challenging conversation makes it dull fare.
Passengers should be unable to board a train without a seat reservation. This would reduce the dash for seats and overcrowding.
A positive assessment would be reassuring, and a negative one might be salutary.
What is vitally needed is strict regulation of fast-food outlets. Every day in term time, I see Bexleyheath Broadway crowded after school with hundreds of schoolchildren eating from chicken shops and McDonald's.
